Covid-19 Policies and Strategies
A protective screen has been installed at the check-in desk.
Staff will be wearing facemasks when unable to practice 2 metre social distancing, and will be frequently hand sanitizing. We ask that guests also follow provincial distancing guidelines, and when unable to do this wear face protection.
If at all possible it is requested that payment for your stay with us be made by bank transfer or by calling the office with your credit card number. The less touching of the payment machine in the office the better it will be for all.
Each cottage will be extensively cleaned and sanitized before the arrival of new guests. This includes wiping of door handles and knobs, window blind pulls, appliances, screens, furnishings, door keys, and as much as possible which might have had human contact.
The extra cleaning will take more time, of course. There-fore, guests must depart the cottage by 9 am. Arrival of guests will be no earlier than 5 pm.
For your safety, guests should bring their own bedding, towels and kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee, toilet paper). If this is impossible, we will of course supply these items.
If guests use the barbecues we are asking that they be thoroughly cleaned after each use.
It is important that all guests follow garbage disposal and recycling-sorting guidelines in order that these items are handled at a minimum by staff.
The guest laundry room will be locked and unavailable as will showers in the public washrooms.
Access to the main lodge kitchen will be restricted to staff, but guests will have access to the chest freezer located near the staff maintenance area.
There are currently no restrictions on the use of the beach, but we do ask all visitors to practice social distancing. Boat rental reservations can be made, too.
The store will be operating on a slightly modified basis. For example, there will be no individual penny candy sales nor ice cream cones.
